Joyciline Jepkosgei Will Not Run Hamburg Marathon

David Monti of Race Results Weekly reports Joyciline Jepkosgei, the half marathon world record holder from Kenya, will not make her marathon debut at the Hamburg Marathon as originally announced. She will instead be a pacer for the London Marathon.

Not Widely Reported - World HM record-holder Joyciline Jepkosgei will not make her marathon debut at #HamburgMarathon as previously announced. Instead, she will be the lead pacemaker for women at #LondonMarathon.

Jepkosgei has twice broken the half marathon world record, running 1:04:52 and 1:04:51, both in 2017. This year, she won the United Airlines NYC Half in 1:10:07.

It is unknown when Jepkosgei will make her marathon debut.
